Hannah Bowen has been appointed executive director of the North Shore Community Mediation Center, succeeding current Executive Director Cynthia McClorey, who is retiring.
Founded in 1994, the North Shore Community Mediation Center is a nonprofit part of a network of 12 community mediation centers in the state. Its staff and 43 trained volunteer mediators provide family mediation and mediation for court-referred small claims, landlord/tenant disputes, workplace conflicts and neighborhood disputes at low or no cost to residents. They also work in local schools to deliver conflict resolution training and peer mediation programs for young people.
